The Snake Oil Salesman Pitch

What if I told you you can achieve financial independence without a side hustle? Without starting a business? Without becoming an influencer or starting a popular YouTube channel? What if I told you you can do it without ever creating a product or selling anything? That, in fact, becoming financially free is quite simple.

I bet you’d think I’m a scam.

And when I mention you can do it with an “automated system” that only takes a few hours to set up you’d be running for the hills.

I probably would too.

I sound like the worlds biggest snake oil salesman. But I’m not (promise!). I have nothing to sell here.

The claims above all sound too good to be true. And in some sense they are. They are technically correct. But there is more to it than that. Becoming financially independent is simple, but not easy. You don’t have to sell anything, but it still takes hard work. Luckily, doing hard things is good.

The how-to in 30 seconds

Here are the main ideas:

1. The only way to accumulate wealth is by spending less than you make and saving the difference. Income - Expenses = Savings.

2. Investing your savings in productive assets (e.g., the stock market) will compound your net worth over years and your wealth will increase exponentially.

3. At some point the returns from your investments are so large that work is no longer needed to maintain your lifestyle.

4. Enjoy your financial independence.

Don’t worry if some of this doesn’t make complete sense to you yet. We’ll add details later. Just notice how financial freedom is really about two things: saving money and investing your savings. That’s it.

This is what I mean when I say achieving financial independence is simple. But the secret sauce is that you need to save a large part of your income if you want to reach independence in any timely manner. That is the “not easy” part. But don’t worry, it is not that hard either - and it may even help you live a better life.

Is it really possible to reach financial independence with a regular job ?

Yes.

I have built up substantial financial freedom in just a few years - all based on the ideas you are about to learn. I may only be one data point but we’ll visit others that are much further along than me.

We will also cover the math that makes it possible - and if math isn’t proof enough for you then I don’t know what is!
